Happy Easter! Hope yours is going to be great. I started mine last night celebrating with Frank as he reached his 1,000th show played and had a wonderful time. Tonight sees Del leaving me to run riot running my first solo promote with This Is Not Revolution Rock, it's at the Cricketers in Kingston and there's Lone Wolf, Katie Malco, Matt Emery and Liam Dullaghan. Doors are at 7.30 and it's only £4 entry! Come and support Zozo! Also follow me throughout the night on twitter @tinrrlondon . Anyway Saturday i'm off to Cambs for an Easter weekend with my parents and back to the fold on Tuesday, phew. Lots happening for Z.
Anyway, quite some time ago now I bought the newer version of last years popular Topshop Make Up Crayons, and it's softer and lighter so I thought i'd share with you some photos and swatches.
I love these crayons because they're so easy to apply. You literally just swipe them over your eyelids (not too heavily) and either use them on their own or as a base for colour. I still love the Topshop packaging, I think it's wicked. I think it suits the brand and it's really recognisably Topshop as soon as you see it! This is gold and sparkly and totally up my street.
This one is a very soft highlight colour on me so works so well as an alternative base to my beloved MAC Paint Pots. They're very creamy and pigmented and pretty much my favourite part of the Topshop Make Up collection.
See how lightly coloured it is on my pale skin, it works so well just under my eyebrows as a little brow highlight too. I've been using it lately in a lot of my fotds so you've probably heard me mention it a lot! I find that it's pretty long lasting too and I sometimes just flash it on over my eyelids for a little sparkles at work and it stays all day without creasing, it does just 'clump' up a little bit, especially in the corner of my eye.
It retails for £8.50 at Topshop or online.
I'm well happy with this purchase, £8.50 is a bargain price for a product I do rate so highly. This is my second crayon and I can't wait to see which crayons they bring out in the future! My only advice is to buy it online as i've been in stores and not seen it very much - seems everyone else loves it as much as I do.
What do you all think of Topshop make up? I spend so much money in there! Do you own this and/or have an alternative way of using it? Let me know!
I'm off to get ready for the gig now,
Love Zozo xxx
